Recycled Wool Sweaters
A friend sent in some photos of a bear and a bunny she made for her boys from a recycled wool sweater, wool rovings for stuffing, and needle felted faces and accents. She writes: "I did use "recycled" sweaters. I actually went into our closet and pulled out a sweater of [my husband's], convinced him it was ugly and would never wear it again. Is that recycling? He may have worn it again...but it was perfect for the bunny!! I stuffed them with wool and a little sachet of lavender."
It just goes to show you, when the mood strikes, nothing is sacred, not even your husband's wardrobe!Labels: Playtime
