Bean Bag Family

My friend Michelle, mentioned in a previous post, gave some wonderful handmade gifts to Spunky and BananaMuffin when she was visiting. We have saved them for Christmas, but here is a little preview of her ingenuity!

Building on the bean bag theme, she used up quilting scraps and embroidery floss to create these fantastic floppy folks! Each one had to be "birthed", as she described it, pulling the legs and arms out from the inside after being sewn.

What a great idea to make a fantastic gift from the heart. Thanks Michelle!
