The Business of Being Born
Fuzzi Bunz Official Sponsor of L.A. Premier of "The Business of Being Born," a Documentary Executive Produced by Ricki Lake:
NEW IBERIA, La., January 10, 2008 - Mother of Eden, the makers of the patented Fuzzi Bunz reusable pocket-style diapering system, is proud to announce that it is the official sponsor of the Los Angeles premier of the widely-publicized and highly-anticipated documentary, "The Business of Being Born." This moving and powerful film about the natural birthing process is executive produced by Ricki Lake and directed by filmmaker Abby Epstein. The premier takes place on January 14, 2008 in the Fine Arts Theater in Beverly Hills.
"This documentary demonstrates the choices a woman has when it comes to choosing her own personal birthing experience," said Tereson Dupuy, the inventor of Fuzzi Bunz reusable pocket-style diapers and CEO of Mother of Eden, who will be attending the January 14th premier. "Just as moms are choosing natural birthing experiences, our hope is that they, too, will choose natural parenting experiences such as breastfeeding and cloth diapering. We were honored to be invited to support this worthy endeavor and look forward to bringing attention to the natural birthing and parenting choices available today."
Mother of Eden is leading the charge in bringing national attention to cloth diapering as the event's official sponsor. In fact, in an effort to create awareness about cloth diapering and Fuzzi Bunz, the Fuzzi Bunz logo will be featured on the red carpet and a sample Fuzzi Bunz diaper will be exclusively featured in each gift bag provided to 400+ celebrity and press attendees. Mother of Eden also has donated a lifetime supply of Fuzzi Bunz to the silent auction that will take place the night of the premier. All proceeds from the event and silent auction go to Bloom OC, a non-profit organization that offers support to pregnant, nursing and new mothers. click for more information about the LA premier of "The Business of Being Born."
About Fuzzi Bunz: Fuzzi Bunz pocket diapers are a convenient and sustainable diapering solution for today's busy parents. The patented Fuzzi Bunz Stay Dry Diapering System ensures no leaks, no rash and no waste. Fuzzi Bunz is a reusable cloth diaper that includes three layers: 1) a waterproof outer barrier to keep wetness contained, 2) a soft microfleece inner layer that touches a baby's skin and pulls away moisture, and 3) a unique, pocket-style opening that enables a parent to customize the absorbency using super absorbent micro-terrycloth pads. Stay-at-home-mom, Tereson Dupuy, invented Fuzzi Bunz in January 1999 in response to her infant son's chronic diaper rash and her overall dissatisfaction with all available diapers. Tereson stitched the first Fuzzi Bunz in her home and a short time later, the Fuzzi Bunz diapering movement was born. Today, Fuzzi Bunz diapers are sold through Internet and physical retailers worldwide. Click for more information about Fuzzi Bunz, or its parent company, Mother of Eden.Labels: diapers, Fuzzi Bunz
