Show Me Your Legs, Baby
September is my favourite month, undoubtedly. Our 5th wedding anniversary is coming up this Saturday, and it brings back the happy memories of the most fun day I've ever had - we danced ALL NIGHT! I love fall, when the leaves start to turn, pumpkin pies start magically appearing in my oven thanks to Scotian, and Thanksgiving brings home family members we only see once a year.
We're getting ready at Nurtured for the cooler days ahead with some new product additions, we've just restocked our popular Peekaru Babywearing Vests, sure to be an even bigger hit this season if the morning temperatures are any indication of the winter ahead! This month we're also anticipating the arrival of Babylegs and Padraig Handmade slippers. Babylegs are a hit our our house already - though they tend to get worn under t-shirts as arm warmers as I tend to be afflicted with cold arms. Seeing me wear them this way makes BananaMuffin want to do the same, so generally she's wearing them on her arms too! I think it looks cute this way.
Padraig slippers - I've loved these forever. Both kids got a pair last fall, and they wore them EVERY.SINGLE.DAY in the house, they're warm, cozy, have a leather sole to make them rugged, they're just high cut enough to keep ankles warm when in a carrier, they're made in Canada, I just can't say enough good things...I can't wait!
