Party Favours

Every year, I like to find a little something to give out to friends and family, colleagues, and people who have touched our lives in some way. Last year, I gave out a dozen Nova Scotian hand-made chocolates by Appleton Chocolates of Wentworth, Nova Scotia. These chocolates graced each seat at our wedding reception, and were declared by my grandmother as the best chocolates she'd ever tasted - and believe me, my grandmother has an opinion when it comes to sweets! Last year everyone from Joe, my hard-working and tireless postman to my good friend The Wool Fairy received chocolates. This year, I stumbled on some very cute hand made felt birds by Gifts Define. Hand made by Irma, these cute little birds were custom made for us in colours to match the Nurtured colour scheme. Perfect for hanging on the tree, the mantel, from the car rear-view mirror, these little birds are just too cute. As Martha Stewart would say, "It's a good thing".

Perhaps it's not fair to show off what you're giving out for the holidays, but these little birds are so cute, I just couldn't resist!
