Anointment at Nurtured
Many of you, myself included, have been loyal fans of Anastasia Manolokos' Anointment soaps, belly butter, baby balm, and other fabulous products since her arrival at the Farmer's Market in Halifax nearly a decade ago.
I've been using her soaps for nearly all of that time - and was excited to start stocking her products at Nurtured only to find out that she was hoping to sell the business.
Not wanting to see such wonderful products disappear, and knowing how difficult it is to find products made with such integrity, care, and product safety, not to mention locally, I decided to purchase Anointment from Anastasia. Beginning mid-to-late May, more Belly Butter and Baby Balm will be available at Nurtured, we also currently have Anointment Lip Balm, Bath Salts, and a limited supply of mini and regular sized soaps in stock.
While we won't be attending the farmer's market, all of the products will be available in our store, and we also hope to re-open a number of the Anointment wholesale accounts in boutiques and shops around Halifax and beyond.
We anticipate beginning production of soaps in May, but because of the curing time, they will not be available prior to June.
We're very happy to be able to keep this line going and to provide Halifax and the wider community with Anointment products that they've known and loved. Any feedback on how we can transition and improve Anointment is always appreciated!
