Thursday, October 8, 6:30 pm Cloth Diapering Workshop - learn to navigate the world of cloth diapering. Pre-registration required.
Thursday, October 15, 6:30 pm Babywearing Workshop - learn the how-tos of all of the baby carrier styles we have to offer. Pre-registration required.
Saturday, October 17, 10 am Birth Options with Karen Reed, CD(DONA), LCCE. Karen draws upon her experience as a mother, a nurse, a certified birth doula, a Lamaze birth educator and as well as from her present study as a Birthing From Within mentor, to support women and couples to be well informed about their birth options. If we don't know our options we don't have any and can't be active participants in our births. Pre-registration required.
Fridays, 1-3 pm Breastfeeding Support facilitated by Jen Hammond, doula and mom of five children, Jen has experienced mastitis, breastfeeding difficulties, and breastfeeding success, and has lived to tell the tale! We invite all new or expectant moms to attend and ask questions, get support, meet other moms, and access resources. The group is offered on a drop-in basis, and is very informal.
